The IP Business Congress 2011

The fourth IP Business Congress (IPBC) is taking place at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, USA, between 19th and 21st June 2011. Building on the success of the previous IPBCs in Amsterdam (2008), Chicago (2009) and Munich (2010), the IPBC 2011 will once again bring together thought leaders from the worlds of IP business and finance to discuss issues that centre on the creation and management of IP value. At a time when a growing number of corporations understand that intellectual property is a crucial asset, the IPBC has established itself as the world's pre-eminent business-related IP conference.

IP Hall of Fame

The IP Hall of Fame honours those who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of intellectual property law and practice. Devised and developed by IAM magazine, it identifies individuals who have helped to establish intellectual property as one of the key business assets of the 21st century. The aim is not only to acknowledge the vital role played by these innovators in fostering today's vibrant IP environment and ensuring its continued health, but also to show how central IP is to the global economy and to the wellbeing of people around the world.

The IP Hall of Fame welcomes new inductees on an annual basis. Via the nomination process, anyone in the global IP community can put forward a name to be considered by the IP Hall of Fame Academy, comprising all living IP Hall of Fame inductees and specially invited international IP thought leaders. On 20th June 2011, at a gala dinner to be held at the Westin St Francis in San Francisco, the latest individuals chosen for induction by the IP Hall of Fame Academy will be honoured by past inductees, members of the Academy, IPBC delegates and invited guests.
